"For your situational awareness, the HHS Healthcare Resilience Working Group (HRWG) has developed the PPE Preservation Planning Toolkit, a dynamic tool designed to guide any organization that uses PPE to estimate the benefits of preservation practices during contingency and crisis capacity PPE shortages.   The toolkit is a resource that allows users to plan how to extend the duration and utility of existing PPE supplies to alleviate challenges related to disposable PPE consumables, including medical gloves, N95 respirators, surgical masks, face shields/eye protection, and gowns. The toolkit allows users to discover how implementing PPE preservation strategies may prevent or mitigate PPE shortages.

If interested in a demo or have questions, please contact COVID-Healthcare-RFI@hhs.gov to coordinate."
