National Coordinating Resource Center

National HIV Curriculum

The National HIV Curriculum provides ongoing, up-to-date information needed to meet the core competency knowledge for HIV prevention, screening, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment and care to healthcare providers in the United States.

National HIV/AIDS Telephone Consultation Service (Warmline)

The Warmline provides free expert clinical advice for clinicians on preventing and treating HIV, from initiating treatment to managing advanced disease. Advice is provided by national clinical experts on HIV/AIDS care for all treatment experience and complexity levels.

National Hepatitis C Consultation Services (Warmline)

The Hepatitis C Warmline provides free expert advice for clinicians on hepatitis C monoinfection management, from testing and treatment initiation to management of advanced disease.

National Post-Exposure Prophylaxis Hotline (PEPline)

The PEPline provides expert guidance in managing healthcare worker exposures to HIV and Hepatitis B and C, including recommendations on when and how to initiate PEP through our online Quick Guide for urgent occupational PEP decision-making, or from experienced clinicians on our telephone consultation service.

National Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Service (PrEPline)

The PrEPline addresses questions about the appropriateness, administration, and laboratory and follow-up procedures of pre-exposure prophylaxis as a prevention tool for healthcare providers.

National Perinatal HIV Consultation and Referral Service (Perinatal HIV Hotline)

The Perinatal HIV Hotline provides free expert clinical advice for clinicians on HIV testing in pregnancy, treating HIV-infected pregnant women, preventing transmission during labor and delivery and the post-partum period as well as managing HIV-exposed infant care.

National Substance Use Consultation Service

(Substance Use Warmline)

The Substance Use Warmline provides free expert advice on substance use evaluation and management for primary care clinicians. We advise on all aspects of substance use management, including assessment and treatment of opioid, alcohol, and other substance use disorders, methods to simplify opioid-based pain regimens, urine toxicology testing, use of buprenorphine and the role of methadone maintenance, and withdrawal management.
