Capacity Building

Twinning Project

Our Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) Primary Care HIV Prevention (PCHP) Twinning Project has two exciting components. First, we provide a novel opportunity for PCHP-funded FQHCs to “twin” with other sites in our region that have achieved successful integration of PrEP and/or strategies for Community Outreach and HIV-Testing. PCHP sites are offered individualized guidance, troubleshooting and mentorship in addition to targeted AETC training via a customized peer to peer learning experience. Second, all FQHCs with PCHP funded are invited to join our Community of Practice. Through webinars on PrEP, HIV Testing and Community Outreach, experts in the field will share their best practices.

This project is supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under grant number TR7HA53197, AIDS Education and Training Centers Program.
